OFFiCiAL POLL: SKiLL POiNTS « Thread Started on Sept 1, 2008, 5:31pm »
'Allo TFC members! You know those super cool skillpoints your character has? Do you know how much work the poor admins go through to make sure your character actually EARNS skill points? (Actually, Kitsune does it most the time. Dreams mysteriously disappears at the mention of skilltracker. o-o)
Anyways, it seems that the skillpoints are rarely taken into consideration when everyone writes their posts. No one used the Hunting Guide poor Dreams made (now the guide is gone). No one uses the magic skill we gave your characters. No one pays attention to the fighting skills in fights (well, you may but there really isn't a way to use them correctly).
So here is my question to you, TFC: Should we keep the skillpoints or should we get rid of them?
Answer in the poll above. If you pick "Get rid of one/two skill point(s)", please post here telling us WHICH skill points to get rid of. =) Also, it would help if you added reasons.
Thanks, Dreams & Kitsune
P.S. If you think you have an idea for a better system of skills, PLEASE message either admin! Thanks!

I think we should keep them. Only we should take them into consideration more. But, if we do get rid of some. I think we should keep the Hunting Skills and Fighting Skills. We should make a Hunting Guide and a Fighting Guide. With the Hunting Guide there should be a list of what kinds of prey you can get when hunting with that about of points. And with Fighting there should be a list of what kinds of 'moves' you can do when fighting, and what damage it does. Also I think there should be a 'Health Meter'. If you guys can manage that, lol. The fighters can keep track of during the fight, and tell Kitsune or Vixey once the fight is over.

I try to use the hunting guide too. Once I had Mosspaw kill a squirrel with only 3 hunting points. And then I remembered that squirrels were for 4 hunting points. So I changed it to a mouse. xD
