Hello and welcome to The Final Clan! We are very glad you decided to join and all of us here hope you have an enjoyable time. But, before you can start posting, there are a few things we must go over. (I know it's a lot to read, but we made this as short as possible without leaving out any important details.)

The Story The Rules Guide to Skill Points Guide to The Shop
DreamClan has not always lived in their starblessed land – no, far from it. Once, they lived in the lake territories far away, and the seasons were no longer kind to them… Back in the Lake territory, another Gathering had come. Leaf-fall was just starting to descend on the land. The four leaders and a handful of cats gathered on the Island – Brightstar, of ThunderClan; Sparrowstar, of RiverClan; Rabbitstar, of WindClan; and Oakstar, of ShadowClan. As the Gathering started, the leaders were disturbed to find that all of the Clans were suffering from the same disease: deep coughs, strange lumps, fur loss… Perhaps just a mutation of greencough; it was getting to that time of year again. Nothing to be worried about: they’d discuss it at the next Gathering. But the plague was quickly taking a turn for the worse. Cats were dying quickly: no cure had been found. Medicine cats worked through the day and night, one’s apprentice even catching it as well. The entire territory reeked of sickness and death; it was clear that the plague was there to stay. At the next Gathering, only the four leaders came – and decided that they could no longer survive by the Lake. Most of their clans were diseased, after all; they would die soon… and the three oldest leaders couldn’t leave their clans. They were near their last lives, after all: perhaps the plague would come to an end some day. So Sparrowstar and the remnants of the Warriors left the Lake with only two medicine cats – and the journey that followed would kill yet more of them. They crossed the mountains and through a small twoleg town; through swamps, forests, plains, and valleys. They wandered aimlessly, not sure where they could settle, and yet not sure if they could return to their home. On the way through the mountains, a kit was almost lost – and one of the Medicine Cats sacrificed his life to save it. One night, though, Sparrowstar had a strange, almost-prophetic dream. He saw a paw from StarClan reach down and dig a valley. When the cat drew a line with its claw, a river formed. When they swept their tail, forests sprouted up… Taking this dream to be a sign, the leader followed his instincts and led them through a Twoleg town. Although they lost many cats while crossing the Thunderpath, when they got to the other side, they found a great territory: a valley with a mighty river and seemingly-endless forests…
Please try to be semi-literate to literate. That means using correct spelling, grammar and punctuation. Mistakes are okay but don't make them a habit.
Keep anything you post within PG-13. Some swearing is allowed, but others are blocked. Try to contain yourself, okay? Also, this applies to what and how your role play. PG-13 means NO graphic breeding. However, bloody scenes and violence are allowed as long as the detail is within reason.
Respect the rules within the thread. If the thread creator creates a rule that does not violate with these rules, it is allowed.
You may create as many characters as you can keep active, but you must create a new account for each character.
No character may start with any special skills/items/mutations/etc. They must be a normal cat with norrmal looks. Anything else must be bought from The Shop! If the skill/item/mutation you want is not in The Shop, please message Dreams or Kitsune.
Skill points are an important part of your character. They decide what your character hunts, how they fight, and what magic abilities they can use.
To move up a level, cats must reach a required skill point level. Kits start with 0 skill points in each field. To move to apprentice, they must have 3 skill points in hunting and fighting. To move to warrior, they must have 5 skill points in hunting and fighting. To move to an elder, they must have 10 skill points in hunting and fighting. (Note: If your character is already an apprentice, warrior, or elder, they will start with the minimum required skill points needed.)
Skill points are generally obtained through practicing. For example, if you pratice hunting, your Hunting Skill will go up (Note: This may not happen in all cases. Please do not message the admins begging for a skill point), just as practicing your fighting moves or practicing a spell can bring up your other skill points.
You can also gain skill points by winning contests and lotteries or from the Shop. Sometimes, packages have extra skill points for your character.
If your character has better fighting skills than another character, you will most likely win the fight. Same goes for magic fights or hunting contests. (Note: All IC contests are watched over by admins and mods. We decide who wins by their skill points, abilities, and how they use their power. Nothing personal goes into the judging.) --- Medicine cats, on the other hand, work a little bit differently. To move to apprentices, they must have three skill points in all fields. To move to full medicine cat (once their mentor dies), they must have five skill points in fighting and eight in magic. To retire, they must have ten in magic.
The shop is a handy tool that you can use to buy nifty items such as jewelry and wings for your cat! You've probably noticed by now that everyone starts out with 20 mousetails - the currency here at TFC. Every time you make an IC post, you get five mousetails. Mousetails can be used to buy items from the shop! Here's an example item:
Tailrings -- one tailring that goes on your, well, tail. - Price: 20 mousetails per tailring. - Limitations: You can own up to four per cat. - Owners:
Do you want to buy a tailring? First, make sure you have enough mousetails. You do? Good! Now check the limitations to make sure that your character fits them, and create a thread in the shop. Make sure that in that thread, you mention what items you'd like. Someone will respond with a 'receipt', subract the mousetails from your account, and add the items to your cats' bio! If you don't have enough mousetails, someone will alert you and the purchase will be made invalid.
So, let's go over that again:
1. Choose an item 2. Check your mousetails 3. Create a thread in shop 4. Wait for the receipt to come!
